PALMATA is inspired by Palmaria Palmata, a seaweed known for its undulating fronds that sway with the ocean current. This brooch seeks to translate that sense of fluidity and movement into a unique piece of jewelry.
Manufactured using 3D printing with biodegradable PLA and then molded by hand, the piece combines a color scheme of two variants—red & pink or gold & pearl—which, together with the organic shape, evoke the liveliness of the ocean.
Each brooch is protected with a thin layer of resin that enhances the colors and provides strength, and is completed with a silver clasp, which adds an elegant and secure finish.
