ACETABULARIA is inspired by the marine algae Acetabularia, known as the “sea umbrella” for its delicate, cup-shaped structure. This design brings the fluid geometry of underwater life into a contemporary piece of 3D-printed jewelry, combining three shades of green and three distinct textures to create depth, movement, and a sculptural, organic presence.
Each piece is hand-molded after printing to enhance its volume and natural curvature, resulting in subtle variations that make every earring unique—much like seaweed shifting beneath the waves. Lightweight and comfortable, ACETABULARIA is printed in biodegradable PLA and completed with silver-plated brass fittings, offering a refined appearance with a durable, comfortable finish suitable for regular wear.
