ADHAERENS takes its inspiration from Codium Adhaerens. Its design seeks to capture both the undulating movement and the unique surface of this species, resulting in a piece full of life and fluidity.
Made from biodegradable PLA using 3D printing, it combines different shades of dark purple and vibrant translucent purple, creating a unique contrast and chromatic depth that changes depending on the light.
To give it realism and organicity, mixed printing techniques have been used to simulate not only the undulating silhouette of the algae, but also its natural texture. In addition, each piece is given additional manual molding, which gives it its characteristic curved shape and a unique finish in each specimen.
The pieces are finished with silver-plated brass studs, designed to offer comfort and elegance for pierced ears.
